The Quality Spectrum SFIA skills selector

The SFIA framework defines the skills and competencies required by professionals who design, develop, implement, manage and protect the data and technology that power the digital world. 

The SFIA Foundation remains the owner of the intellectual property and copyright of the SFIA Framework (see https://sfia-online.org/en ). No changes have been made to the source data, just the way they are presented here.

Each skill in SFIA has been analysed for its alignment with the domains in the Quality Spectrum. Some skills are relevant across all the domains and are classified as 'All'. 

Note: Alignment of the Quality Management skill has been split because the focus of each level aligns with a different Spectrum domain.

Select the Quality Spectrum domain of interest and the appropriate SFIA skills are revealed, along with the applicable levels of responsibility (note that skills have different numbers of responsibility levels). 

There are detailed descriptions of each skill within the SFIA Framework. Once you have identified the skills relevant to the Spectrum Domain of interest, go to the SFIA website for the latest and authoritative details.

Below are summaries of the seven Levels of Responsibility. Used in conjunction with the Skills, they can support career progression by providing generic attributes, making these levels suitable as the basis for core competencies and career development stages.
